Nurturing New Growth at the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix

Thank you so very much for another incredibly successful year at the garden. We held more than 190 Educational workshops, 9 cultural events, and welcomed more than 125,000 total guests through general admissions.

It is hard to believe that just seven years ago our staff consisted of just three full-time employees. Today, we are proud to have a team of 20 full-time professionals who contribute to the garden's success.

The garden and its operations have grown tremendously over the last seven years and we look forward to our continued expansion including new events such, expanded educational programs (launching JFG KIDS Club), and unique experiences showcasing Japanese art, culture, and craftsmanship.

And as always, we are ever committed to maintaining and improving the garden to the highest level possible.

• Donating $200 or more, you will receive a personalized lantern as a thank-you for your support.

Your Personal Touch:

• Choose a kanji that holds special meaning for you and get it handwritten by our Education Curator, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Each lantern comes with a custom tag, offering a gentle way to honor loved ones and celebrate lasting memories. Beginning in mid-January, the lanterns will glow throughout the Garden to welcome the New Year and create a warm, heartfelt display for all visitors. After the campaign, you may take your lantern home so the spirit of the Garden can travel with you.
